Beta

Lodestone Data is in open beta. Coverage is still expanding, some searches are not live yet, and published rates may change. What is live today.

Every rate, in public.

You price your own work by the hour, so you should be able to price ours before you commit to it. Every search is listed below at what it costs, which means you can quote a client at the start of a matter. Volume tiers apply automatically at the end of each period, with nothing to renegotiate and nobody to call.

Weighing us against another platform? See how this compares to IRBsearch and Tracers.

You are never charged for a search that finds nothing

Not reduced, zero, on every product. If a search comes back empty you are not charged, and you still receive the documented negative showing what was searched and when. A negative is often the answer you needed; it should not be the answer you paid full price for.

Bank and brokerage location is not sold here

Deposit and securities account location is not available on this platform at any price, and there is no product code that returns it. It is investigative work, not a database lookup. If your matter needs it, engage a licensed agency directly. Why it is not offered, and how our parent relates to it.

Not available for FCRA-regulated screening

These are investigative records, not consumer reports. They may not be used for employment, tenant, credit, or insurance eligibility decisions. We carry no credit products at all, the platform simply cannot produce a consumer report, which is the cleanest way to make that true.

What it would cost you

Move the slider to your rough monthly search volume. Incumbent figures are their own published minimums, see how we compare.

50 searches a month, one seat

PlatformPer month
Lodestone$42.50 no minimum owed
TLOxp$75$75/mo minimum
IRBsearch$1,000500 transactions/mo minimum

Lodestone modelled at $5 a seat plus $0.75 a search, our published person-search rate. Your actual mix will differ; every rate is on this page.

Bundled reports

Three reports, each answering one question and running exactly the searches that answer it. Every component is a real search, separately logged under your permissible purpose, and itemised on your statement with its own search ID. Bundling discounts the components 10% against running them one at a time.

ReportSearchesSeparatelyBundled
Locate & relativesRelatives & associates, phone, reverse phone, email$17.00$0.00
Assets & employmentVehicle, employment locate$26.50$0.00
Court & public recordsEvictions/suits/judgments, bankruptcies/liens$21.65$0.00

Property search and criminal records are not in these reports and are not priced into them, because no data source is live for either one yet. They join the report, and its price, on the day they go live. What’s live today.

The comprehensive report

Identity, contacts, network and public record on one subject, at a standing discount. Priced a la carte and itemised on the invoice, so you can see what you bought and what each part cost. The three heaviest searches are deliberately outside it: confirming who someone is should not cost the same as a full asset sweep.

Save $13.91 · 35% off the report

Not included and not charged for: Criminal records. No source is live for it yet, so it is not priced into the report. It joins the report, and its price, on the day it goes live.

Add any of these per file

These are the searches that carry real provider cost, so they are priced on their own rather than folded into every report. Add one when the file calls for it and pay the rate card; the narrower locate, assets and records reports carry them at a bundled rate.

SearchRate
Evictions, suits & judgments$16.20
Vehicle search$15.60
Employment locator$10.90

Itemised, because a single number is where the padding hides

Sold as one line item at one price, a comprehensive report is how you end up paying for the eleven searches that came back empty. Here each component is on the invoice at its own rate, with its own result, and the discount lands line by line. You can see exactly what the discount is worth, and you can drop any component you do not want and pay the rate card for the rest.

The report discount replaces your volume and sworn-agency discounts instead of stacking on top: you are charged whichever is better for you, and never more than the a la carte price. What’s live today.

What the others require before you run anything

The per-search rate is only half of what a platform costs. The other half is what you owe in a month where the work was slow.

PlatformPublished rates?Minimum to hold access
LodestoneYes, this page$5 per seat. No search minimum.
TLOxpNo$75/month minimum on transactional plans1
IRBsearchNo, “contact sales”Monthly minimum fee; flat-rate packages start at 500 transactions/month2

1. TransUnion, TLOxp Transactional Pricing Schedule: Law Enforcement, revised December 2021, released under FOIA and published by the Brennan Center for Justice. 2. IRBsearch published pricing page, retrieved August 2026. Both figures are the providers’ own. Per-search rates on TransUnion-owned data run below ours on several products, which follows from the fact that they own the file and we license it. What we compete on is published pricing, no minimum, and never charging for a search that finds nothing.

Terms

  • $5 per user seat, per month. Billed on the seats active when the period is charged. Deactivate a login and you stop paying for it the same month. You are never billed for someone who left.
  • No search minimum. A seat is not a spend commitment, and it does not convert into search credit. Run one search a month, or none, and you pay for your seats only.
  • An access agreement, with zero commitment. You sign one, it sets out permissible purpose, data handling and audit obligations, because a platform carrying this data cannot responsibly hand it out on a click-through. It carries no term, no volume commitment and no termination fee. Cancel whenever you like.
  • Law enforcement discount, 15%. Sworn agencies receive 15% off every published rate as a public service, applied automatically on top of any volume tier they qualify for. Apply and identify the agency.
  • A search that finds nothing is free. Every product, no exceptions, and you still receive the documented negative. Some of our own suppliers charge us for a miss and some do not; that is our problem rather than yours, and one rule is easier to trust than a table of them.
  • Blocked searches are never billed. A request we reject on permissible purpose carries no charge, and is logged anyway.
  • Monthly billing, itemised by search, purpose code, and matter reference.
  • Rates current as of August 10, 2026 and subject to change on notice. The rate confirmed at search time governs that search.
